Royal Adhesives and Sealants manufactures two-component manganese dioxide cured polysulfide sealants for demanding high-temperature fuel tank and fuselage sealing applications under the Hardman® brand name. The fuel tank & fuselage sealants are fully qualified to the AMS-S-8802, AMS 3276 and AMS 3281 and a low adhesion access door sealant that is qualified to AMS 3284. Our Wilmington California manufacturing plant is fully approved to the AS 9100 and NADCAP AS 7003 aerospace quality system standards. These sealants have outstanding resistance to aviation gasoline and jet fuel, as well as resistance to chemicals and petroleum products common to the aircraft industry. Hardman brand aerospace and defense sealants offer excellent flexibility and bond strength to most metal substrates like aluminum, stainless steel, advanced composites and many coatings under extremes of temperature, weather and stress.
Hardman Double Bubble Red, a fast-setting adhesive is sold to the defense market under National Stock Number 8040-00-092-2816 and is used for a wide variety of maintenance and repair applications on ground support equipment, military vehicles, and naval ship equipment and systems.
